Meditative Animal - Dopeman (Buddha Buzz)

Meditative Animal's "Dopeman (Buddha Buzz)" - A Trip Worth Taking

Meditative Animal's "Dopeman (Buddha Buzz)" isn't your typical ode to drug culture. Instead, it's a hazy, introspective exploration wrapped in a lo-fi, psychedelic soundscape. From the moment the track kicks in, you're enveloped in a swirling sonic tapestry of echoing vocals, distorted guitars, and a subtly driving beat. It feels less like a song and more like a guided meditation through a fog-laden landscape.

The lyrics, fits the song well. Ghostface Killah makes an appearance and really sets the song off.

What makes this track truly captivating is its atmosphere. The distorted production and doubled up vocals create a feeling of disassociation, encouraging the listener to lose themselves in the music. It's the kind of song you put on when you want to disconnect from the noise and delve into your own thoughts.

"Dopeman (Buddha Buzz)" isn't necessarily catchy or immediately accessible. It demands patience and a willingness to surrender to its unconventional structure. But for those seeking a unique and thought-provoking listening experience, Meditative Animal's offering is a trip well worth taking. It's a sonic journey that leaves you pondering the nature of reality and the potential for inner peace, long after the final note fades.

PYP - Throne Of Gold

PYP is a group consisting of Guy Juarez and Dan Bogrand. Their song Throne Of Gold, is a slower to mid-tempo song that is unique. It has a older generation feel, yet still modern. The vocals are strong, the guitar flows well with the drums, and it is mixed very well. When I listened to it, I put on headphones and just zoned out. The song is a cool experience in headphones. The lyrics are very fitting. They can relate to many problems people have in life, and in turn should connect with many people, for different reasons. In pictures, it looks like there are other band members that play live with them, but they are not credited that I can see. Check them out at http://pypmusic.com
